We collaborated with the Houston City Controller’s office to conduct a comprehensive data analytics project aimed at evaluating and comparing various spending scenarios for the city’s budget. The project involved analyzing historical financial data, forecasting future expenditures, and modeling different spending scenarios to assess their potential impact on city services, infrastructure, and long-term financial health.
By leveraging advanced analytics tools, we provided the City Controller with detailed insights into the most sustainable and effective allocation of resources. The analysis highlighted areas where strategic investments could lead to cost savings and improved service delivery, while also identifying potential risks associated with different spending approaches.
Our work enabled the Houston City Controller to make data-driven decisions, ensuring the city’s financial stability and enhancing its ability to meet the needs of its residents.
